Unsettled in the north, but often drier further south


Saturday
On Saturday and high pressure does become more influential across Portugal, Spain and across France bringing fine weather here. Cloudy and damp weather develops across England, Wales and Scotland though and milder here too. Showery weather with snow showers expected across Scandinavia, especially in Finland and Sweden where some very low minimum temperatures are possible too. Fine weather is expected to develop across much of the Med through the day with dry and pleasant conditions extended towards Italy and eastwards towards Greece too.


Sunday
On Sunday and low pressure maintains cloudy and damp weather across the British Isles and with some rain, preceded by sleet and snow moving eastwards into more southern areas of Norway and Sweden during the day. Very cold and mainly dry weather dominates across more northern areas of Scandinavia. High pressure will be the dominant feature across much of central and southern areas of Europe mind, through the day. Plenty of fine, sunny and pleasant conditions are expected across Portugal, Spain into France, Switzerland, parts of Germany, down toward Italy and also eastwards towards Greece and surrounding countries.
